U7 rugby passing drills

What U7 is allowed here
U7 is the first grade the RFU allows passing work at, so this is where it starts. Nothing below that grade sees any of these, in the app or on this site. What U7 rugby allows is the rest of it.
The drills
Under each one is what it looks like when that drill is going wrong.
- Two ball square 6 min · 8 to 20 players · 15 x 15 m Calling for it as it arrives, which is too late
- Name and pass 5 min · 8 to 20 players · 12 x 12 m Name said as the ball is already in the air
- Rob the nest 6 min · 8 to 24 players · 25 x 25 m The ball thrown into the nest from a stride away
- Two hand relay 8 min · 6 to 24 players · 20 m channel One hand on the ball the moment they start running
- Pass down the line 8 min · 6 to 21 players · 20 x 15 m One child a metre ahead of the rest, so the pass has to go forward
- Corner ball 10 min · 8 to 20 players · 20 x 20 m Everybody piling towards whichever corner the ball is nearest
- Catch and turn 7 min · 6 to 18 players · 10 x 10 m Waiting with the arms tucked in for the ball to arrive
- Taking a free pass 8 min · 6 to 20 players · 15 x 10 m The ball put on the grass or rolled rather than passed out of the hands
- Follow your mate 9 min · 6 to 21 players · 20 x 15 m The two without the ball drifting in front of the carrier
- End ball 10 min · 8 to 24 players · 25 x 20 m Everybody standing where they passed from
- Keep ball 8 min · 8 to 20 players · 20 x 20 m Passing to whoever is closest, marker and all
