Privacy notice

Equal Play has two halves. The match-day rotation planner needs no account and keeps everything on your own device. The coaching hub needs an account, so it stores a small amount of information about you. The coach. Nothing about any child is ever collected.

No data about children. Equal Play never asks for, stores or transmits a child's name, date of birth, photograph, medical information or anything else about a player. Player names you type into the rotation planner stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere.

The rotation planner

Squad names, rotations and match-day events are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. There is no account and no server copy. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently. If you never sign up for the coaching hub, we hold nothing about you at all.

The coaching hub

When you register for the coaching hub we store:

The lawful basis is performance of a contract: these are the details the hub needs in order to work for you. There's no marketing list and we don't sell or share your details.

Who processes it

Accounts and session plans are held by Supabase. The site is served by Vercel, which also provides anonymous, cookie-free page-view counts. Neither receives anything about a child, because there's nothing to receive.

How long it's kept

For as long as your account exists. Delete your account and your details and every session plan you saved are removed immediately and permanently.

Deleting your account

Open the coaching hub, go to Account then choose Delete my account. It happens straight away and can't be undone. You don't need to email anyone or wait for a reply.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Correction and erasure are both built into the Account page. For anything else, or to complain, email hello@equalplay.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

No advertising or tracking cookies. Signing in stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in; that's the only thing set on your device beyond your own saved data.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, the change will be described here and, where it matters, flagged in the hub.
